Led by Connecticut photographer Sonia, Iron Coast Studios specializes in natural, intentional photography with a focus on movement, connection, and the moments that happen in between. From families and milestones to brands and events, Sonia creates imagery that feels authentic to the people and places she photographs.

Based in Connecticut and photographing stories throughout New England, Iron Coast Studios approaches photography with an emphasis on capturing how a moment felt, not simply how it looked.
Sonia and Tyler’s work is honest, warm, and grounded in genuine connection. Her portfolio spans brand and content photography, families and lifestyle sessions, engagements and weddings, events, and cinematic drone coverage.
It’s an approach that felt especially aligned with Two Waves. Our studio is about movement, community, and creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves — and we wanted the photography documenting our beginning to feel the same way.

Inspired by coastal light, genuine connection, and the beauty of movement, she brings a natural and thoughtful approach to every session. From brands and events to couples and families, Sonia focuses on capturing the candid, in-between moments that make every story feel personal, effortless, and true to you.
Meet Tyler
Production Assistant + Second Photographer
Tyler helps bring the vision behind every Iron Coast session to life, supporting both behind the scenes and behind the camera. With an eye for the details and moments that can easily go unnoticed, he helps create a seamless experience while capturing additional perspectives along the way. Together with Sonia, he makes sure every part of the story is thoughtfully documented.
