Welcome to our Wave
We're so glad you're here.
Whether you're completely new to Pilates or returning to your practice, our goal is to make your first experience at Two Waves Pilates feel welcoming, comfortable, and empowering. We believe movement should be something you look forward to—a chance to reconnect with yourself, build strength, find balance, and leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.
Here's everything you need to know before your first class…
-
Create Your Account: Prior to your first class, create an account through our online booking platform and reserve your spot.
Arrive Early: Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your first class. This gives us time to welcome you, introduce you to the studio, and familiarize you with the reformer before class begins.
Complete Any Required Waivers: Any required forms can be completed online before your arrival to ensure a smooth check-in process.
-
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely.
We recommend:

Fitted tops or tanks
Clothing that allows instructors to see alignment and movement
Please avoid:
Loose or baggy clothing
Clothing with zippers that may damage equipment
Grip Socks Required
Grip socks are required for all classes for safety and hygiene purposes. If you don't have a pair, they will be available for purchase at the studio.

Water bottle
Grip socks
Positive energy
Everything else will be provided for you.
-
If you've never used a reformer before, don't worry.
Your instructor will guide you through the equipment, explain class flow, and provide modifications when needed. Every movement is designed to help improve strength, flexibility, posture, balance, and body awareness.
Expect a full-body workout that challenges you while remaining gentle on your joints.
Most importantly, expect to move at your own pace.
-
Absolutely.
Reformer Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels. The spring-based resistance allows exercises to be modified for beginners while still providing opportunities to progress and challenge yourself over time.
No previous Pilates experience is required.
-
To create the best experience for everyone:
Arrive on time for class
Silence your phone before entering the studio
Respect fellow clients and instructors
Clean equipment as instructed after class
Notify your instructor of any injuries or physical limitations before class begins
-
Classes may be canceled up to 12 hours before the scheduled class time without penalty.
Late cancellations and no-shows may result in the loss of a class credit or a fee, depending on your membership or package.
